Asfixia Social are from Brazil and their mixture of heavy and ska influenced music, one minute full on guitar solos and the next brass lead interludes. It’s a fascinating mix and their sound changes abruptly from Rage Against the Machine to ska with some Hendrix thrown in. They know how to use their fantastic musical skills to produce some great songs that catch the ear and get people dancing. Despite the range of styles their eclectic mix of musical sources is melded perfectly into one Asfixia sound and everything is happily uptempo and grooves along.

Durch Trompeten- und Saxophonhooks angetrieben, präsentieren DNJVN vielschichtigen und ambitionierten Bläser-Punk. Linus Volkmann bezeichnete die Musik als Powerpop zwischen Montreal und Turbostaat. Auch thematisch vielfältig, findet die Band zwischen Klamauk, Ironie und Gesellschaftskritik einen angenehm abgeklärten Tonfall.
