Quiet Pages

Join us for Quiet Pages, a calming sensory story and playtime designed especially for children with special needs. Held on select Fridays from August through December 2025, this inclusive program offers a relaxed environment where participants can enjoy a quiet read-aloud alongside a variety of gentle, hands-on sensory activities.

While a librarian reads a few chapters from a book aloud, children are free to explore the sensory stations at their own pace—whether it’s fidget toys, textured objects, or soft play materials. There’s no expectation to sit still or stay silent, just a welcoming space to listen, relax, and engage in a way that feels comfortable.

No registration is required. Drop in anytime between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. for a soothing and supportive storytime experience tailored to diverse sensory needs.
