Collierville Community Bookclub

Collierville Community Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Halle Room. Join us to share your favorite titles with the group, read books recommended by other library users, and get involved with a community who loves to discuss their love for reading.

During August, we will be reading Three Guesses by local author, Chris McClain Johnson. We’re excited to welcome the author to our discussion this month—don’t miss the chance to ask questions and hear insights directly from her! Stop by the information desk if you need a copy; supplies are limited.

About the author:

Award-winning Southern author Chris McClain Johnson started writing stories as a child, inspired by the beauty and wonders of her family farms in Mayfield, Kentucky. After graduating from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, she settled in Memphis, Tennessee, where she continues to write stories, poems, music and essays. Her debut epistolary novel Three Guesses is the recipient of Regal House Publishing’s 2023 Fugere Book Prize for Finely Crafted Novellas.
