Once a year, TEEX opens its gates to the public for the annual Public Firefighting Demonstration Night. Don’t miss your opportunity to witness firefighting techniques, training props set ablaze, and real-life firefighters in action at this family-friendly event! Admission is free.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-TEEX fire and emergency training experts ignite full-scale training props on our 297-acre fire field.
-Witness firefighters combat intense flames up close.
-Learn from TEEX instructors as they explain the techniques and equipment used throughout the demonstration.

7:30 p.m. | Demonstrations Begin
8:30 p.m. | Event Ends
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
-Parking is free and available in lots along Nuclear Science Road, and early arrival is highly recommended.
-Water stations will be on-site. Still, we recommend that attendees bring their own water bottles, portable fans, towels, and other hydration/cooling tools to help beat the heat.
-Wear closed-toe shoes and loose, comfortable, or moisture-wicking clothing.
-Pets are not allowed at this event due to safety precautions.
