TO APPLY YOU MUST:
• Be 18 years of age at the time of your interview
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate (or equivalent)
• Provide your high school transcripts or GED results.
• Complete the WorkKeys Assessment Tests in the following: Applied Mathematics, Graphic Literacy & Workplace Documents (No minimum score required.).
• Be willing to travel, at your expense, to Fairbanks for your scheduled interview. Interviews are held quarterly and scheduled months ahead of time.
DOES THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO YOU?
• You are a United States Veteran who completed the Veterans in Piping Program; or
• You are a high school senior in the FNSB School District.
If so, you may qualify for interview without meeting all of the above requirements. Please contact the JATC for more information at (907) 456-5989.
THE 2025 DEADLINES TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS ARE:
• September 17
• December 9
Applications are accepted year-round, and application deadlines indicate the last day you may submit a complete application package and be signed up for the next round of interviews, typically held the week following the deadlines end.
