"The Big Drop" One-Night Kids Event at Piedmont Chapel

Get ready for one of the most action-packed and fun events of the year! On Friday, August 15th, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, we’ll be hosting “The Big Drop” — a smashingly fun event just for kids where we drop stuff from way up high and watch it go KERSPLAT!

There will be awesome games, delicious treats, and fun your kids won't forget.

Best of all, we’ll get to hear a heartfelt message about Jesus’ first disciples who dropped everything to follow Him!

It all takes place at Piedmont Chapel (7616 Business Park Dr, Greensboro, NC 27409) — and registration is required, so make sure to sign up today!

This event is for all kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade in the 2025–2026 school year.

There's a chance we will get a little messy! Wear comfortable clothing that you wouldn't mind if they got a little ice cream or slime on.

No — The Big Drop is a drop-off only event just for kids.

🙌 Who is leading the event?
Our amazing Piedmont Kids Team – the same staff and volunteers that lead our kids activities every Sunday – is heading up this event. They love making church fun and meaningful for kids.


🤝 Can my child bring a friend?
Absolutely! We love when kids invite their friends. Just make sure each child is registered individually.


☔ What happens if it rains?
No worries — we have a solid backup plan indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The fun will go on rain or shine!
