Chris Bowers started this and after talking to him we thought starting this would help get an accurate head count.
Keith Secord’s brother Ted Short is allowing us to use the Lamp Lighter Bar & Grill at 33 N Hanchett St downtown Coldwater. I need to get a head count of those able to attend for a buffet style meal that will be provided. Ted said he would work with us on pricing since it’s his brother’s reunion. It will be a cash bar/beverages and cost of buffet meal, price to be determined by amount of responses that are attending.
Even if you had already sent Chris confirmation, please RSVP on this event.
If you know there are other classmates not in this group, please send them the invite as well.

“First and Best of the Decade”
Attention all classmates of the class of 1980 Coldwater High School,
As most of you know, Chris Bowers has taken on the task of organizing our 45th class reunion. I reached out to him and offered The Lamplighter as a potential venue for the reunion. I have also volunteered to help by formalizing the head count needed to ensure we have the right amount of food and staff for the event.
However, we are facing two issues that require your assistance:
1. RSVP Status: We have more people responding with "interested" rather than "going" or "not going." Unfortunately, we cannot consider "interested" as a confirmed head count, which makes it difficult to plan for food and staffing. If you have responded with "interested," please update your status to "going" or "not going" so we can plan accordingly. We must also set a RSVP deadline to allow the Lamplighter to order the Necessary food and set up proper staff. Deadline for RSVP Will be August 1st 2025.
2. Spreading the Word: We need your help to ensure that all classmates are aware of this invitation. Many of our classmates are not in this group and may not see this invite. Please take some time to go through your contact list and invite anyone from the class of 1980 Coldwater High School to this event. If there is anyone not on facebook and they wish to be included, please have them send me a text with there RSVP to 262-370-6594 but only if they are not on FB.
