The White Table Event

Your evening will begin with a beautiful meander down our rustic long driveway, through Vernon's hidden gem, The Vernon District Riding Club. Find the welcome table where you will be greeted by friendly VDRC volunteers. Continue along the path under large shade trees to receive a welcome glass of bubbly and select local delicacies from the grazing table while you mingle with other patrons, all dressed in white.

Enjoy the unique equine demonstrations and learn some fascinating facts about the Equestrian sport through the all so knowledgeable Brian Martin, your Emcee for the evening. Soak in the atmosphere of laughter and cheer while you sip on a chilled glass of wine, cold Okanagan Spring beer or a tasting of Okanagan Spirits Bourbon.

At the sound of the bugle, wander over to the beautifully adorned LONG table and find the seat reserved just for YOU. Enjoy a savoury meal prepared by Gumtree Catering while you laugh with your table-mates and share stories with your new and old friends under the glow of a summer setting sun.

After a delicious meal, introduce yourself to some of the four legged equine friends housed within view and read the stories they share with you as you breath, what some would clasify as the best smell in the World, "Horse".

As the sun sets you can enjoy the numerous Instagram worthy photo stations set up for the perfect shot with your friends and family. Set yourself up with an après dinner beverage and dessert on a decorated bistro table and relax or dance to the wonderful music of Jon Bos under the twinkling lights.

The evening will end with a toast to this beautiful venue and our supporters with a Sparkler finale.

Info: Make sure to visit the various Instagram worthy photo stations throughout the grounds and snap some photos of you and your friends with our equine friends. Photos are best at dusk and our ground provide the most magical photography opportunities!

Info: Experience savoury farm to table food curated by award winning Gumtree Catering. Service will be family style to initiate a friendly atmosphere and help build a warm and welcoming setting with your table mates and new friends! White wine, Red wine and Sparkling water will be served during your dining experience.

Info: After a hearty dinner, leave room to sample some sweet and savoury dessert options as you explore the Clubhouse and take in the immense 70 year history of The Vernon District Riding Club.

Info: Enjoy an all ages Hunter Derby across three rings of the facility while you sip on cold beer courtesy of Okangan Spring Brewery and sample some bourbon from Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery. Red & White wine will also be available (TBA)

Info: Grab some friends and find a cozy bistro table to sip on your aprés dinner drink and enjoy the easy listening music by artist Jon Bos as the sky darkens and the white twinkling lights create a memorable evening.
