Vermont Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

Come spectate or get your giant pumpkin weighed at the Annual Vermont Giant Pumpkin Growers Weigh-Off! View dozens of giant pumpkins, some over 1,000lbs! Giant sunflowers, giant tomatoes, and other one of a kind giant Veggies! Fun for all ages. This is a fun and unique event you won't want to miss! Free to attend but bring your wallets as there are many goodies to purchase.

The weigh-off will take place at: Sam Mazza's Farm Market 277 Lavigne Rd, Colchester, VT 05446, Saturday, September 20th

Check in for participating pumpkins starts at 10AM, all pumpkins should be checked in by 11:30AM - weighing starts at 12PM

Be sure to bring your pumpkin on a good and sound pallet -- facing the correct direction for the forklifts to unload.

Be sure that your fruit is clean. No pesticides residues etc. and be sure it is free of damage and rot - all pumpkins can be weighed, but only sound pumpkins will be eligible for competition

VGPGA Member's pumpkins will be weighed with no entry fee. Non-members will be $30.00 for weighing (which includes the membership to the club).
