Get ready to make a difference this summer! Become a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard through our blended learning course designed to prepare you to respond to aquatic emergencies with confidence and professionalism.
We offer the following course options:
Shallow Swimming Pools (max depth 5 ft.)
Swimming Pools (max depth 12 ft.)
Deep Pools (max depth 20 ft.)
Waterfronts (bays, lakes, ponds, beaches, and swimming pools 20 ft. deep or less)
Water Parks (includes water parks and swimming pools 12 ft. deep or less)
Youth Camps (includes waterfronts and swimming pools 20 ft. deep or less)
Lifeguard Recertification Courses
This course combines online learning with an in-person skills session. All participants must complete online coursework and pass the prerequisite swim test before attending the in-person portion.

First-time lifeguards
Returning guards who need to recertify
Camp staff, swim instructors, or anyone working around the water this summer
📝 Prerequisite Requirements for ALL Courses:
Must be at least 15 years old by the final day of the course.
Successfully complete the online coursework prior to attending the in-person session.
Successfully demonstrate all specific pre-skills requirements, which will be assessed during the first day of training. See the registration site for the list of pre-skills requirements for each course.
