Fabulous Fakes is a popular and playful exhibition by the Coffs Harbour Creative Arts Group (CHCAG) where members reimagine and reinterpret iconic works from art history. From Old Masters to Cubists Impressionists to Realists this showcase is a tribute to the greats with a twist.

CHCAG artists draw inspiration from the past to create something entirely new using various media including acrylics watercolour pencil pastel collage and photography. The result is a dynamic display of skill humour and originality.

Reflecting the broad range of disciplines taught through CHCAG’s classes workshops and demo days Fabulous Fakes offers something for every art lover. Visitors often marvel at the creativity and craftsmanship—and may even find a unique piece to take home as all works are for sale.
