Sanders Beach at 12th Street-Lake CDA

Thursday Night Paddles are trips of about 2 hours for the purpose of getting to know other kayakers and canoers, practicing good paddling and safety skills, and learning about paddling opportunities in the CDA area.

Departure Time for Paddles is 6:00 pm. Allow enough time to unload your kayak, stow gear and sign in with the trip coordinator before the appointed put-in time.

All group paddle participants are responsible for their own personal safety.

In order to paddle with our club, you MUST have a Coast Guard approved life jacket, whistle, and Idaho Invasive Species Sticker.

Inflatable kayaks and/or SUP's will NOT be able to keep up with the group and are therefore discouraged due to safety concerns of the club.

Directions: Sanders Beach at 12th Street-Lake CDA
From downtown CDA, take Sherman Ave east to 12th Street. Turn right on 12th St and follow it south to Lakeshore Dr. There is a narrow public path to Sanders Beach across Lakeshore Dr from 12th Street. Public restrooms are located at Eastside Park two blocks west along Lakeshore Drive.
