TWO local performers will be entertaining us on the Kirkgate stage for this Cockermouth Live! event…

Emma McGordon is a multi award winning writer and performer currently dividing her time between her native West Cumbria and London. She is particularly interested in working-class narratives and voices. Much of her writing and spoken word is semi-autobiographical.

Up-and-coming stand-up comedian and actor from Cumbria, Stephanie Bradshaw performs the ‘best bits so far!’ from her 2024 Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Big Fish’, inspired by her life so-far as a 30-something, attention-seeking (anxious, delicate, shy) mega diva, who’s lived almost her entire life in small rural towns.
