UPCOMING CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT AS PER REV. MATTHEW OF ST. PETER'S ANGLICAN CHUCH, COBOURG
Remembrance Sunday November 9th, 2025
We invite the congregation to mark your calendars for this years observance of Remembrance Sunday on Nov. 9th. The Concert Band of Cobourg and the Royal Marine Association of Canada will be joining us at our 10:30 am Choral Mattins Service.
An Act of Remembrance will be led by Air Cadets & Royal Marines at the Town Cenotaph in Victoria Park at 9:30 am.
All are welcome to attend.
Remembrance Sunday Concert - November 9th @ 3pm
On Remembrance Sunday at our 10:30 am service, St. Peter’s will be dedicating a WW 1 memorial in memory of Sgt. Heber Nichol who died in 1918.
The afternoon concert will use music and song to take people through his life in early Canada and then over seas into the trenches.
We look forward to welcoming The North Lakeshore Chorus as they offer this performance in honour of a fallen Canadian Soldier.
There is no cost for the performance, but a free will offering is being collected at the door.
