Ottawa River Paddlefest

Celebration of the river we call home at our annual Ottawa River Paddlefest. Originally called the Kitchissippi / Kichi-Sìbì by the Algonquin people.

🚣‍♂️ On-Water Activities
Shuttles: Transportation to and from the river provided throughout the weekend.
Rolling Clinics: Held at the OWL Rafting beach to help paddlers refine their skills. ​

MKC Clinics: One- and two-day intermediate kayaking clinics offered by Madawaska Kanu Centre. ​

Recreational Boat Rally: A fun gathering for paddlers of all levels. ​

Live Music: Performance by the Wilno Band on Sunday evening.

Story Panel: Featuring Claudia Van Wijk, sharing insights and experiences.

Vendor Marketplace: Open from 4–9 PM on Saturday, featuring local artisans and gear vendors.
