About the event

Clyde Blockhouse Revolutionary War Encampment

The Clyde Blockhouse Revolutionary War Encampment will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Blockhouse Park in Clyde. This celebration kicks of the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution. There will be craft / food vendors, musket firing, 18th century living history demonstrations, and guided Blockhouse tours. The Towpath Fife & Drums will be performing at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Children’s broomstick militia drills will be held at 11:00am and 2:00pm. Watch history come alive at a real Revolutionary War site!
