Freshman-JV-Varsity Level Summer AAU Tryouts

We have tryouts for Freshman, JV, and Varsity starting Monday April 28th. With Badminton and Boys’ Volleyball in playoffs the schedule is going to be fluid based on how those teams do, so we could be changing times. I do already have times posted on our calendar https://www.clovisnorthbasketball.com/calendar-uofex You will be contacted by your coach to tell you which team your son made for summer basketball. If your son is selected to a team, your family will need to commit by May 2nd. Payment will be due after we do the fundraiser. If you did not raise enough funds, the you will need to pay the difference or full amount if you don’t raise any money through our Vertical Raise Program. Practices are at Clovis North High School Large Gym (LG), Small Gym (SG), Granite Ridge Gym (GR), and CN Weight Room (WR)

May 31-June 1 JV & Freshman @ Clovis West

June 6-8 Varsity 1 & 2 @ Fresno State

June 7-8 JV & Freshman @ Clovis North TBA

June 13-15 Varsity 1 & 2 @ Clovis West

June 13-14 JV & Freshman will play at Clovis East Tournament

June 18-22 Varsity 1 Section 7 Live Period Mesa Arizona – Depart Wednesday; Scrimmage Thursday; Games Fri-Sun

June 20-22 Varsity 2 Franklin-Sheldon Varsity Tournament Elk Grove

June 21-22 JV & Freshman will play at Buchanan TBA

June 26-July 1 Varsity 1 Cali-Live in Irvine, CA – Disneyland June 30 – return on July 1

HOTELS

We do take all the varsity 1 & 2 players on our trips in school vans, and we supervise the kids. Parents can go on the trips, if they want to, but you don’t have to go. I will get you hotel information when Sports & Rec books our rooms.

Game Uniforms:

We will wear our black and blue reversible STAMPEDE game jerseys with the number and last name on the back. They were the uniforms that cost $125 and had to be pre-ordered back in March. I did order some extra but they won’t have your last name on the back.

Fundraising:

We will do a Vertical Raise fundraiser. Whatever your son raises can go toward his membership fee for summer. If you do not raise all of the money, then you will need to pay the difference. We also host 2 summer tournaments to offset the cost of summer tournaments. Parents will donate snack bar items (mostly drinks) and volunteer to help run the door and the snack bar on the weekend of our events. This summer will cost roughly $30,000. – (Tournament Entry Fees, Hotels, Vans & Gas, & Coaching stipends)

Membership Fee:

JV-Frosh Team $200

Varsity 1 & 2 $500
