Willow Avenue is excited to host a free public screening of the documentary 1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted Culture. The feature-length film explores the first time the word "homosexual" appears in a biblical translation, its harm on LGBTQIA+ people, and challenges uses of the Bible that harm. After the film, there will be a panel responding to the film and the topics it raises.
