We kick off with Arnold L. Chandler, President and CEO of Forward Change, whose groundbreaking work in social change strategy and equity-focused research has influenced policies across the nation. With over two decades of experience, Arnold will guide participants through a compelling exploration of how systemic factors affect pregnant and postpartum mothers—offering a practical framework for applying the life course approach in your work. 

Day two features Dr. Alexandra Addo-Boateng, Founder and CEO of California’s Perinatal Hub, and a nationally recognized expert in maternal and infant health. Her session will focus on the social determinants of health, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the often-overlooked issue of postpartum depression in fathers. Dr. Addo-Boateng’s insights, grounded in years of clinical, research, and policy leadership, will equip attendees with actionable strategies to promote equitable, whole-person care for perinatal families.
