Join us for a midweek Wednesday Wander from Whalley. This is a 10km / 6 mile circular from Whalley round to Sabden. These are two picturesque, historic villages in Lancashire with pretty farmland scenery enroute.
The trail is moderate with a number of steady climbs and descents throughout. The elevation is just under 300m / 900ft, so its a relatively gentle walk. We'll be on a mixture of paths across fields (some potentially very muddy), tracks, pavements and a couple of road stretches. There are plenty of gates, kissing gates, and stiles (our favourite), so although dogs are welcome, they must be able to negotiate these.
We will allow 3 and half hours for this route, taking our time to enjoy a lunch / snack stop in the pleasant scenery and good company!
Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person). Children 7+ welcome.
This small-group guided walk is professionally led by Abi, a qualified Mountain Leader and Outdoor First Aider / Mental Health First Aider, with full PL insurance. Booking is essential, places are limited and cost £10 per person.
Details of what to bring and where to meet will be emailed or sent in the WhatsApp chat on booking, but please get in touch if you need further details beforehand. We walk in ALL weather, so please take note of the Kit List that will be sent out on booking.
