Prickly Pals hedgehog hunt

Join us this February for an adventure. Explore the museum and see if you can spot the castle’s shy little hedgehog friends hiding in our galleries. Once you’ve found them all, enter our competition for the chance to win a goody bag full of brilliant souvenirs.

Free with museum admission. Adults £5.10. All children go free.

Inspired by the real hedgehogs that snuffle through the woods around Clitheroe Castle, our hunt is packed with fun extras:

Discover amazing hedgehog facts. Did you know hedgehogs build cosy leaf nests for sleeping? Most hibernate from late December to late March, though some snooze earlier, later, or skip hibernation altogether.

Please note the museum is open Friday to Tuesday from 1 to 15 February. (closed Wednesday/Thursday). From 16 February the museum is open every day.
