About the event

Castle Crafts – Make a Medieval Purse!
Create your own medieval-style purse to take home in this hands-on craft session! Guided by the craft leaders you will learn a traditional rope-making technique to make your drawstring and discover fun historical facts as you go.
£5 per craft plus a sheet of fun facts to take home.
Booking for this event is advised to ensure your place. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This session is aimed at ages 5-11yrs, although older creatives are more than welcome!
Museum admission does not apply to take part. Accompanying adults benefit from 20% off adult admission to the museum if visiting afterwards.
