The Clinton Massacre 150th Anniversary Memorial Service

On September 4, 1875, racist violence erupted at a community picnic, leading to the deaths of unknown numbers of African Americans in the months that followed. 150 years later, we commit ourselves to learn from the past, to honor those who lost their lives, and to do better in the future.

At this special service, hear from the descendants of those who were there in 1875. Remarks by Congressman Bennie G. Thompson, with special guest Senator Hillman Frazier.
