Week 3: Obedience In Trust: Yielding The Will
This Thursday we continue our September series “Slain to Live: A Call to Surrender.”
Week 3 is all about Obedience in Trust – Yielding the Will.
When surrender feels costly, obedience calls us to trust God’s will above our own. We’ll explore what it means to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” and discover how trust opens the door to resurrection life.
David and Christine will be teaching this week, bringing a timely word that will challenge us to release control and embrace trust as the pathway to true freedom in Christ.
Come ready to listen, learn, and lay your will before the Lord — knowing that when we surrender, He breathes new life.
🔥 This Week’s Challenge: Trust Beyond Control
As we walk through Week 3: Obedience in Trust – Yielding the Will, we challenge you to give God the very area of your life where surrender feels hardest.
• Identify one place where you’ve been holding onto control (a relationship, a decision, a fear, or a dream).
• Write it down and pray over it daily this week, saying:
“Not my will, but Yours be done.”
• Each time anxiety or doubt rises, respond with trust instead of control — let this be your act of obedience.
Remember: trust is not passive — it’s obedience in motion.
