Season Pass for THE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES: SotP's 2025-2026 Line-up

Seat of the Pants’ 2025-2026 season, THE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES, features a diverse selection of plays that focus on how we manage the tensions between individual rights and communal responsibilities, between our personal wants and desires and the “shoulds” and “oughts” of what we owe the larger groups of which we’re a part. We’ve got everything from a rollicking comedy to an environmental crisis-domestic drama, a highly theatrical recreation of the circus to a new play about Christian haunted houses. Join us for all of it by becoming a season pass holder!This season pass ($120 for adults / $75 for students) gets you:

• a single ticket to each of our three main shows and each of the four readings at a discounted rate (or you can use them flexibly if you want to have two tickets for two shows, or any other combo)
• reserved seating, so you don't have to show up early to claim a seat
• a free concession for each show
• invitations to VIP events, like open rehearsals and meet-and-greets
• reminder e-mails as shows approach that it’s time to reserve your seats

Loads of laughter and literature collide in this smart hit comedy about books and the people who love them. Ana is a Type A personality who lives in a letter-perfect world with an adoring husband, the perfect job, and her greatest passion: Book Club. But when her cherished group becomes the focus of a documentary film, their intimate discussions about life and literature take a turn for the hilarious in front of the inescapable camera lens. The Book Club Play is a delightful romp about life, love, literature and the side-splitting results when friends start reading between the lines.

Four times over the course of the year, we’ll focus on brand new work, hearing plays read aloud for the first time. Each reading will be followed by a talkback with the playwright where audience members will be asked curated questions that will guide next steps in edits and re-writes. And there will also be an opportunity for our patrons to ask questions about the playwright's experience in crafting the piece up to this point. This is another way that we're trying to celebrate process and development as the hallmark of great theatre-making.
