At age 49, Sam Adams took on comedy as his full-time profession. His entertaining, profanity-free performances at the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival received high praise. In 2018 the “True Color” clip from Sam’s first Dry Bar Comedy special received more than 10 million social media views in less than 72 hours.

Since, the “True Color” clip has amassed more than 35 million views on Facebook alone.
