History Happy Hour: Cherokee Culture with Sonny Ledford

Sonny Ledford from Cherokee, NC, will join us for our first History Happy Hour of the season. As an artisan, dancer, and lecturer, Sonny has educated people around the country on Cherokee Culture based on his own personal experiences, from growing up in a family that spoke Cherokee as their primary language to his involvement in traditional craft and dance. Sonny is one of the 7 original members of the Ani Kituwah Warriors and has been employed by the Cherokee Historical Society for more than 22 years.
