Groundies Workshop

Step up your game on the ground! Whether you’re new to the industry or looking to sharpen your skills, this one-day workshop is designed to give ground crew (Groundies) the practical tools, techniques, and safety knowledge to support tree work efficiently and professionally.

Led by Henk Morgans, this hands-on day will cover:

🔹 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘁𝘀 & 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀
– Learn the right knot for the right job, plus how to assist with safe and effective branch removal.

🔹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘄 & 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆
– Understand operation, daily maintenance, and hazard zones to keep you and your team safe.

🔹 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 & 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽
– Build strong safety habits, from site setup to emergency procedures and working near powerlines.

🔹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 & 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
– How to present yourself, manage client expectations, and know when to call in the boss.

🔹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 & 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆
– Learn how to keep the job site running smoothly, support your climber, and clean up smart.
