Theme: The Way of Faith – Following the Shepherd
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4a
Faith isn’t proven on the mountaintop — it’s refined in the valley.
In the Ancient Near East, shepherds guided their flocks through deep ravines to reach the high summer pastures. The paths were dark, steep, and narrow, but the shepherd always went first.
This week, we’ll explore how the valley seasons of life become the very ground where faith matures.
• Deuteronomy 8 – Faith remembers God in the wilderness.
• Isaiah 43:2 – Faith rests in His presence through the flood and the fire.
• Hebrews 11:27 – Faith endures because it sees the Invisible One.
• Psalm 84:5–7 – Faith turns valleys into springs.
