DANCECleveland Community Dance Day 2025
and the Northeast Ohio Student Showcase

Across the Playhouse Square District
A fun-filled day of dance for the whole family to enjoy!
Starting at 10 am, take part in more than 13 free classes for all ages and abilities in dance styles including Modern, Ballet, African Drum & Dance, Hip Hop and more. Community Dance Day is a wonderful time to try out the art form of dance and its many styles and celebrate movement together.
Then, at 3 pm, come see a wonderful free dance performance featuring some of Northeast Ohio's best local youth dancers in Playhouse Square's Allen Theatre! This showcase provides local dance students with a professional performance experience in an iconic Playhouse Square theatre. The showcase will display a wide range of dance styles and will feature the highest caliber of student performers and choreographers from across Northeast Ohio. Tickets will be general admission.

Dance For Every Body- an Adaptive Dance Class with Sara Lawrence Sucato of Dancing Wheels
Stepping with Rondale Simpson
1:00 pm- 2:15 pm:
Traditional West African with Talise Campbell of Djapo Cultural Arts Institute
Beginner Flamenco with Alice Blumenfeld of Abrepaso Flamenco
"Dancing in the Street" with MrTonyFresh- Community Class
Intermediate/Advanced Level Classes- Designed for ages 14 and up with dance experience

Advanced Musical Theatre with Lauren Marousek
Advanced Ballet with Christina Lindhout
12:00 - 1:30 pm:
Advanced Jazz with Heidi Glynias
