Join us in a celebration of the enduring power of silent film at the Cleveland Public Library downtown branch! The Cleveland Silent Film Festival presents a double bill of Charlie Chaplin's SUNNYSIDE (1919) a film portraying the romantic (mis)fortunes of a put-upon farmhand paired with WAR STORY (2001) a film by the Lorain-native LA-based filmmaker John Baumgartner a poignant tale of a waiter and his love for a soldier soon to be deployed to fight in the First World War. Both films shown with live original scores performed by Mike Petrone legendary pianist of Johnny's downtown. FREE!!
Parking: Huntington Building Garage, 777 Rockwell and ABM Rockwell Garage are the nearest parking garages. Please note that street parking is free on the weekends!
