Hi Parents and Participants!!
We are so excited you are interested in participating in Cain Park’s summer youth show, Annie Jr.! There is no participation fee for this show!
Auditions for Annie Jr. will be held on Sat. April 26, 2025 from Noon - 4pm, and Sun. April 27, 2025 from 12pm-3:30pm at the Cleveland Heights Community Center - Rooms 1A&1B. Auditions are open to children finishing their 2nd-8th grade school year.
Please come to Cleveland Heights Community Center, located at 1 Monticello Blvd, Cleveland Heights,
OH 44118. Auditions will be held in Rooms 1A&1B.
What are we looking for in an audition?
It’s ok if you’re nervous or if this is your first audition! To help you out, your Director and I are
looking to see:
- If you can sing your song on tune and on tempo
- That you put a little emotion into what you’re singing
- That you are a good fit for one of the characters we are looking to cast
- Your personality!
- Don’t forget to smile – this is fun!
- And, finally, “Sing out, Louise!” aka projection, or how loudly you can sing
PLEASE NOTE:
Rehearsals will run June 10 - July 24. We will not rehearse on June 15, June 19, July 3, or July 4. Generally, rehearsals will be Sunday – Thursday, but not everyone is called to all rehearsals.There might be some weeks where you are only called once or are called every day. Generally,we will rehearse on Sundays 1pm-4pm and Mondays – Thursdays 6:30pm-8:30pm, but these times can be modified to fit what we are working on that day.
Rehearsal locations will either be the Cain Park Colonnade, Cleveland Heights Historic Schoolhouse, or the Cleveland Heights Community Center.
We will do our best to accomodate conflicts and create a workable rehearsal schedule for all participants!
