20:45-00:00 Salsa social with a sprinkling Cha cha and Bachata from host DJ Eddie UK Salsa and DJ Tony Crossbody.
Details about Elaine Greenwood
A former champion Irish dancer and professional singer, Elaine has extensive teaching experience which allows her to explain movement in a relatable way that everyone can understand.
Known for her style, grace and infectious joy for dance, she is an approachable teacher whose thorough, yet light-hearted approach is very popular with her students.
Elaine trained, taught and performed internationally with Susana Montero before joining Ignite Dance Company in 2011.
In 2016 Elaine started her own salsa performance team, South Coast Ladies, based in Southampton.
Details about Tony Crossbody
Tony has been on the salsa scene since 2004.
In 2019, Tony starts DJ-ing and quickly comes to the attention of dancers who enjoy his playing style.
Robert Charlemagne, a legend in the Salsa world, tipped him to be a DJ to watch out for.
Tony has played at Mambo City Congress as well as for other promoters across London.
Not content for just playing for others. Tony runs 2 socials of his own every week in Central London.
In addition, he is resident DJ at a weekly social in West London called " Strictly On2" for said Robert Charlemagne.
Tony also plays vinyl and has performed at "I like it like that" vinyl sessions alongside DJ Erick the Saint.
He has also brought his music internationally to festivals across Europe, including, Amsterdam, Romania, Barcelona, Norway and Budapest
Through his music, Tony has gained the respect and attention from dancers and promoters for his craft and aims to keep every dancefloor busy whenever he performs.
