Gelliprinting and bookmaking whole day course 31/05/25

What?
The morning will be spent learning how to print without a press, using stencils and found materials and a Gelli plate.
For beginners or those who've had some experience of gel plate printing.

Learn how to:
- use a gel plate and understand how to create both silhouette and ghost prints
- create your own stencils to make prints
- use a limited palette to good effect
- use a range of materials for different effects like textures

The afternoon will be spent using the printed materials to make covers for 2 A6 books, which you will bind.
Expert bookmaker Fi Harris will run this session.

Learn how to:
- Cover an A6 hardback unlined notebook with your morning’s gelli prints
- Cover & stitch a 5 hole A6 soft cover notebook
