World Oceans Day Cleanup

It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to announce the 2025 Great American Cleanup (GAC) taking place from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages thousands of volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County.

Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful at Stevenson's Creek for a cleanup to celebrate World Oceans Day! Volunteers will assist in picking up litter and debris along the mangroves and surrounding areas. Mangroves play a critical role in protecting our oceans by improving water quality, supporting a diversity of marine life, and acting as a natural buffer against erosion and storms. Join us in making an impact this World Ocean's Day!

Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult

WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at the Clearwater Lawn Bowling Club - 1040 Calumet Street Clearwater, FL 33755

TIME: 8:30 AM -11:30 AM - Please arrive a few minutes early to check-in.

WHAT TO WEAR: Closed toe shoes are required. We recommend volunteers wear sun protection and weather approriate clothing.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are required to sign our waiver upon arrival.

PARKING: Free parking is available in the lot onsite. Spaces may be limited so carpooling is encouraged!
