Tanked, my adventure romance novel (with superheroes!), releases 13 September, 2025 and we are having a party to celebrate! Come buy a book, get it signed, be a part of the superhero cosplay contest, make some memories at the photo op booth, enjoy a reading from Tanked, and have a great time!

Adult and kid categories with bookish prizes.
I am very excited to have cosplayers Holly Waites and Eric Hall, as well as fashion design student, Gwen Wilson, as our contest judges. Look for more info on them in future posts!
This is more of an informal, all-are-welcome cosplay event. Expert or total beginner, you are absolutely welcome to enter the contest 😊
Cosplayers: The contest will start about 2:45 pm. There are bathrooms at the event for you to change in if needed.
What is Tanked about?
Tanked is an adventure romance novel with vibes similar to The Lost City (Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum) or The Fall Guy (Emily Blunt, Ryan Gosling) but with superheroes!

Willard Meeks—aka The Tank, Los Angeles’ official superhero and former children’s librarian— wants someone to love him for who he is. Not for his bulletproof skin. Not for his larger-than-life public persona, carefully curated for him by his manager, Hopper. Finding someone who shares his passion for kidlit—especially picture books—wouldn’t hurt either.
Grace Kekoa didn’t expect much when she joined BlindDate, the no-photos-allowed dating app—just someone who knew the difference between Beatrix Potter and Harry Potter. What she got was Willard: thoughtful, kind, and passionate about books. He feels like a once-in-a-lifetime match. So why is he reluctant to meet in person?
When a doomsday cult threatens to unleash a supernatural monster, Hopper wants Tank’s head in the game—not buried in flirty messages. Besides, Hopper’s already got the ideal, publicity-friendly match for Tank—a gorgeous fashion designer with media appeal and key intelligence on stopping the bad guys.
