Project: Enjoy the beauty of Mount Diablo’s foothills as we fight impacts of climate change by watering native restoration plantings. In order to help increase survival rates, we water each seedling every three weeks during dry months. Watering is the vital next step to this restoration project and we need your help! We will be watering the native plantings, and weeding or mulching as needed. Please join us to enjoy a day outdoors building native habitat.
Please note: Watering involves holding 1-3 gallon jugs of water to nourish seedlings. Our summer events are held earlier in the morning so that we can enjoy the cooler parts of the day. The site does not have a bathroom facility.
