US 441 construction update from GDOT

Join the Rabun County Republican Party as we host Jason Dykes, the Georgia Department of Transportation District Engineer on the latest timelines and construction delays regarding US 441/23.

As with all of our meetings, this one is open to the public but we want to extend the special invitation to anyone who has an interest in this including our Democrat neighbors. This is not a partisan issue.

All of us live and work here so this is a great chance to get your questions answered from reliable factual source as well as getting a better idea of the timeline in the months going ahead. This is more than just a repaving project, as extra lanes are being added, central barriers erected in some locations and turn around exits in other places as well as the construction of new water and sewer lines.

The formal program begins at 6:00 p.m. but there will be networking and food beginning at 5:30 p.m.
