The Contra Costa Resource Conservation District and California Department of Parks and Recreation are partnering to lead a field trip to the Mitchell Canyon prescribed burn scar at Mount Diablo State Park. Join us for a guided 3-mile hike through the Mitchell Canyon area to check out the impact of the recent Spring prescribed burn, and learn about the ecological benefits of fire.
