What to Expect:
Check in Friday evening and enjoy a casual dinner in the Dining Hall. Saturday, experience a mix of free time and time spent in session with our speakers.
Saturday evening, enjoy a catered dinner by the pond followed by free time. 🍽️
On Sunday, we'll have a light breakfast followed by a brief, uplifting worship service for a final send off.
About Pete and Lynn Larson:
Pete and Lynn co-founded Family Fest Ministries in 1997 with a shared passion for strengthening families through engaging retreats and meaningful, Christ-centered programs. In 2002, they launched the Marriage Booster Retreat, a one-day or weekend experience created to help couples grow closer to God and become more intentional in nurturing their relationship.
Lynn recently retired from a fulfilling career as a high school math teacher and varsity tennis
coach. She continues to tutor students online and finds joy in golfing, reading, working out with
friends, digging into her Bible studies, and leading marriage retreats alongside Pete.
Pete has spent over forty years working with families and youth as a youth minister, motivational
speaker, ministry mentor, and retreat director—having led more than 800 retreats. He has
contributed as a guest blogger for a number of ministries and churches, and formerly hosted The
Wishing Well Show at the Minneapolis and St. Paul Children’s Hospitals. When he’s not leading
retreats, Pete enjoys biking, golfing, traveling, playing guitar and mandolin, fishing, and woodworking.
Married for 39 years, Pete and Lynn live in Bloomington, Minnesota, where they raised their two sons, Dan (34) and Tim (28). They’re especially excited to be welcoming their first grandchild in September!
