Pilot Medical Exams and The Basic Med Option

In this completely free session for pilots, students and those considering aviation training for themselves or their children will learn about what medical exams are required to become a pilot and work as a professional aviator. Considered by some to be a worrisome process, Dr. P will break down all the barriers, taboos and misinformation about both the Class I/II/III medical process as well as the popular Basic Med option. No questions are off limits, and you are welcome to submit questions in advance to remain anonymous.

Dr. Kelin Prokurat is a board certified OB/GYN and FAA
Designated Pilot Examiner, proudly serving the Victors Aviation community. A lifelong aviator, she earned her private pilot certificate at 19 and completed her instrument, commercial, CFI, CFII, multiengine, and ATP ratings by 20. Combining medical and aviation expertise, Dr. Prokurat is passionate about supporting safe, capable pilots and inspiring the next generation to take flight.
