Clawson July 4th Parade

You are invited to participate in the Clawson July 4 parade! We will meet in the parking lot by Aldi/O'Reilly Auto Parts on 14 Mile. It's an early parade, so plenty of time to enjoy the fair or family time afterward. They request patriotic decorations (duh!) so hit up Dollar Tree for your decor. If there is enough interest, we can hit up somewhere for lunch afterward.
Registration begins at 7am and 14 Mile closes at 8am for the 5k race. The parade steps off at 9am and we are usually on the road between 9:45 and 10:00, finishing between 11:15 and 11:30. There is an area where we can pull off and remove decorations.
The parade organizers ask that we not throw anything from the Jeeps. Terry McDowell will be organizing those who want to walk along the route to pass out candy and/or ducks, so please make sure you let me know if you have someone coming with you who wants to join in.
