Turing GW4 Speaker Event - AI, Data Science, Climate, Adaptation & Net Zero

Welcome to the Turing GW4 Speaker Event at the University of Bath.

Audience: Post graduates - PhDs, Postdocs, ECRs, Researchers - open to all interested in data science and AI – registration essential.

Join us for an afternoon of presentations and discussions on AI, Data Science, Climate, Adaptation, and Net Zero.

It is beyond question that the climate crisis is upon us and our duty as environmental custodians of the planet has never been more pressing. Whether on land, sea or in the air, AI and data science are revolutionising our knowledge and environmental response for the benefit of society and the planet.

This event will include a series of thought-provoking talks on the latest research on topics related to AI in farming, atmospherics and coastal erosion; an industry-led panel discussion and a facilitated workshop on collaborative opportunities for future partnerships.

16:15 Panel discussion - including speakers from industry sharing their insights on the challenges facing them related to climate, adaptation and net zero. The panel will examine how AI and Machine Learning can help and consider the current funding landscape.
