CLSA Junior Sailing Camp

Let 2025 be the summer your child learns to sail at CLSA!

Our CLSA Junior Sailing Program is the place to learn to sail, develop life-long skills, meet new friends, and have a BLAST!

ELIGIBILITY: Open to members of Cowan Lake Sailing Association ages 9-17. We offer a special Youth Membership which is a great option for new sailors.

JUNIOR SAILING CAMP- JUNE 9-13, 2025:
· Instructional groups tailored to all skill levels- from beginners to racers.
· Evening activities- big boat sail, Amazing Race, movie nights, and stories around the campfire.
· Overnight camping- must have parent, grandparent, or guardian on site.
· Meals provided for all sailors and camp volunteers- breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

SAIL ALL SUMMER: Junior sailors continue to build their skills and make new friends throughout the summer. We offer both fun and competition- weekly Sunday afternoon races, Bring-A-Friend Fungatta, Independence Day Boat Parade, travel to regattas throughout the region, racing clinics, and other sailing opportunities.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT: Junior sailing is a family affair, and each family is required to volunteer during camp and during the summer sailing season. No worries if you aren't a sailor yourself- there are lots of volunteer opportunities both on and off the water.
