APSU Wind Ensemble

Please join the APSU Wind Ensemble on their first concert of the 2025-2026 year. Our program is inspired by both the noun and verb of ‘Harvest Light’, both in the colors of the evening Autumnal sky, and also to capture every fleeting moment of happiness you are lucky to have in life. We will perform: Entry March of the Boyars (Halvorsen), Irish Tune from County Derry (Grainger/Kreines), High Water Rising (McCune), Soul Suite No. 1 (Douglas), Harvest Light (Naigus), and Aurora Awakes (Mackey). We are thrilled to invite guest conductor, Dr. M. Cory Schmitt, Associate Director of Bands at APSU, as well as guest soloist, Dr. Kristen Sienkiewicz, Professor of Horn at APSU. This concert is free and open to the public, and will be livestreamed at youtube.com/@apsumusicdepartment
