Butterflies are beautiful and need conservation and research. Help experts learn about the butterflies in the area during one of the North American Butterfly Association’s (NABA) annual counts. Doris Applebaum and Sue Greenlee, butterfly count experts will lead this hike and share information about the butterflies we find. The NABA holds these counts annually. Dress for walking through tall grasses and being outdoors. Bring your binoculars to search for birds as well.
