Men's Mental Health Group - "Breaking Silence, Healing Together"

"Breaking Silence, Healing Together" is a new Men's Mental Health Group led by Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Benn Rayment of Clarinda Mental Health Center.

All men, ages 18 years and older are welcome to attend. Please call CRHC at 712-542-8354 to let Benn know you are coming. If you are interested in exploring mental health topics & supporting fellow group members you are welcome. No prior counseling experience is required – just a willingness to listen and share.


Meetings will be held on the First Wednesday of every month at CMHC from 5:00 - 6:00pm


GROUP OBJECTIVES:
1. Encourage open discussions about mental health challenges faced by men

2. Provide a confidential and non-judgmental platform for sharing

3. Learn effective strategies and stress management techniques

4. Foster a sense of belonging and connection

5. Promote mental well-being and self-care practices



FORMAT FOR MEETINGS:
+ Group Discussions: Engage in open conversations facilitated by mental health experts.

+ Stress Management: Learn practical techniques to manage stress and enhance mental resilience.

+ Support Network: Build meaningful connections with like-minded individuals.
