Lucas Marchbank is a 17 year old Stavely Resident and was diagnosed with Lymphoma on March 25. He is undergoing 6 month of aggresive Chemotherapy treatments meaning he is staying at the hospital a majority of his time. Long term prognosis is good but its going to be a fight to get there. The Marchbank family is undergoing finacial burdens from taking time off work and Candi, Lucas's mom will not be returning to work during his treatments. There is a large financial burden with having a child in the hospital full time, this race is organized to help relieve some financial stress that the family is undergoing!
