If you are struggling in your journey through your grief, join us for a Grief & Heartache one-day Retreat. You will be in a space where everyone is mourning a loss, and everyone can relate to what you are going through. You will become a member of a community where it feels safe to attend to your grief.
The day will consist of psychoeducation about grief, psychosomatic work to calm your nervous system, opportunities for sharing and quiet reflection, and teaching about the healing properties of herbs & nature specifically for grief. You will also be fed a delicious lunch and homemade treats. You will be nourished…..mind, body, and soul.
Grief is something we all experience and yet it is so misunderstood and can feel so isolating. We grieve for many things in our lives in addition to the death of loved ones, such as divorce, breakups, loss of a job, loss of a dream, loss of a future. We grieve for what was, what never was, or what will never be. Finding our way through our grief involves getting in touch with the myriads of emotions we experience and starting to learn to process our pain.
The retreat will be led by Mary Piatt, LPC and bereavement counselor with Hospice Austin, Austin, TX, and Graciel Evanstar of The Soul in Bloom and hosted at the Clarence Honeyhouse by Sue Merlino.
Saturday, June 26, 9am-4pm includes lunch, drinks & refreshments, supplies & a gift from the day

We are hosting a minimum of 6 participants with a maximum of 10. Secure your place in our limited group with half or all of the fee in advance, whatever works for you. If unable to attend last minute, then your deposit will be held in credit for you for our next retreat.

The Honeyhouse is a short-term rental in a historical landmarked house, and we love interacting with our community for wellness events, such as this day.
