Come join us at this Urban Sketchers Tulsa event where we will draw or paint what we see. Free to participate!
- We will meet up at Claremore Main Street Office at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025
- Address: 412 W Will Rogers Blvd
- Main Street’s Director, Steve Robinson will greet us and share Claremore’s Route 66 landmarks.
- Please park at City Hall (104 S. Muskogee Avenue) or Claremore Museum of History (121 N. Weenonah Avenue). For anyone with mobility issues, street parking is available in front of the Main Street office.
- Participants pick a spot to sketch or paint on their own, using their own supplies, inside or outside.
- Meet up at 11:30 am for a throw-down to share your work at the Main Street Office.
- Pop-up sketching opportunity (optional): After lunch, continue sketching at Ed Galloway’s Totem Pole Park, which is 10 miles NE of Claremore (21300 E Highway 28A, Chelsea, OK). There are restrooms and an air-conditioned gift shop.
This is a perfect day to get submissions to us for the upcoming Route 66 exhibit at TCC in August 2025! Deadline to submit is July 30, 2025.
